5 Amazing Things in Gulargambone NSW

Gulargambone New South Wales

Located in the Orana District of New South Wales Australia, Gulargambone is a small town with a population of around 400. For such a small town, it has a surprising number of attractions for visitors passing through.

At just under 500km from Sydney, it takes around 7 hours to drive there. However, as there is plenty to see along the way, it’s better to do it over two days or more and visit the towns along the way. Most have some thing to see, depending on your interests. Major towns you will pass through depending on the route you take include, Lithgow, Mudgee, Gulgong, Dunedoo and Gilgandra.

Street Art

Scattered around town street art brightens up some otherwise average structures. The easiest to find is the bus shelter near the war memorial and bullock dray sculpture. This is by local artist John Murray who has a gallery in Lightning Ridge. As you leave town, another striking piece of art is the staring eyes by Lisa Browne that look at you as you pass.
