Aichi E16A Japanese Floatplane

The Aichi E16A Zuiun was a reconnaissance floatplane of the Imperial Japanese Navy during the Second World War. First flying on 22 May 1942 it entered service in February 1944. A total of 256 were built. An unusual feature was the inclusion of dive brakes on the floats to enable it to undertake dive bombing attacks. Its Allied code name was Paul.
