CAC XP-47 Rocket Powered Interceptor

The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CAC XP-47 was a proposed single seat interceptor project powered by a rocket motor. Armament was to consist of six air-to-air rockets such as the 70mm Mighty Mouse rockets. Models of the proposed aircraft were made, but the project did not proceed.
