Nakajima Ki-43 in Thai Service

Nakajima Ki-43 in Thai Service

During the Second World War, Thailand operated 24 Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa fighters (along with 3 additional attrition replacement aircraft). They were used to intercept raids on Thailand by US and British aircraft. During the war, Ki-43s were camouflages and marked with white elephant on a red background. Post war the camouflage was removed and the original roundel markings applied.
