Parnall Pike

Designed as a replacement for the Fairey IIID, the Parnall Pile as a 2/3 seat biplane reconnaissance aircraft capable of operating with either floats or a wheeled undercarriage. Evaluation by naval test pilots found its performance to be sluggish, with poor visibility from the cockpit. Only one Pike was built and it did not enter production.
