SNCAC NC.211 Cormoran

SNCAC NC.211 Cormoran

The SNCAC NC.211 Cormoran was a four-engined French strategic transport aircraft that first flew in 1948. Despite the loss of the prototype on its first flight, ten production aircraft were ordered. Testing of the first of these revealed poor performance leading to the cancellation of the order. The remaining ten aircraft were scrapped before being completed.
