Swedish Coastal Defense Ship HSwMS Tapperheten

HSwMS Tapperheten was a Swedish Äran-class coastal defence ship. Having entered service on April 1903, she was stricken in June 1947.

At the outbreak of the Second World War, Tapperheten had not been used for twelve years, but nevertheless served as the flagship of the Karlskrona Division in 1939-40. During this time, she also underwent extensive modernization.
