Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre August 2025
Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre currently has two new exhibits on display from August to November 2025. Located in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia, if you’re a local or passing through, this a great series of art world worth looking at. The building they are located in also has a café.
Furari Flores by Cara-Ann Simpson in the Main Gallery is a multisensory exhibition celebrating the wonder of plants. Incorporating sight, smell, hearing, and tactility, this exhibition grew out of Cara-Ann’s experience with extreme illness and a life-changing diagnosis. The Latin title translates to ‘stealing flowers’.

The Process of Interpretive Connection by local artists Janice Hanicar and Julia McNaught is a project focussing on the Banksia plant. Challenging themselves has led to a connection and partnership that has built a body of work the pair are proud of.
