Sculptures on the Farm Dungog 2025
Located in the small New South Wales Hunter Valley Town of Dungog, Sculptures on the Farm 2025 runs from 29-31 August. Only a 75 minute drive north of Newcastle, it’s a beautiful setting for the artworks, with many on a hillside with 360 degree views of the surrounding country.
Plenty of parking was available in a field adjacent to the Dungog Common where the display was held. After walking around the sculptures near the entrance, a shuttlebus took us to the top of a nearby hill, where the larger works were displayed. Spaced out over a 1.5km walk, they took advantage of the beautiful scenery and surrounding farmland. At the end of the walk, a shuttle bus took us back to the start, so no walking up the hill, unless you wanted to.
This was a fantastic display, rivalling Sculptures by the Sea at Bondi and Fort Scratchley in Newcastle. As well as the sculptures, we had a walk around Dungog, bought a coffee and morning tea.
