Bondi Sculptures By The Sea 2025
Returning in 2025 Bondi Sculptures by the Sea initially suffered from uncertain funding. Despite last minute support from NRMA the uncertainty appears to have affected the number of sculptures on display. There certainly looks fewer on display than in previous years, with the official website stating more than 100 are on display.
Although there might be less to see, crowds were still strong on the first weekend with the walk from Bondi to Tamarama.
Getting There
Parking is limited at Bondi and expensive, so the best option is public transport. Catching the train from Central Station to Bondi Junction was simple and easy. Getting off opposite Bondi Beach we grabbed a coffee at one of the many cafes on the restaurant strip before starting the walk.
The sculpture trail.
Starting just past Icebergs swimming pool, the trail follows the coastal walk with sculptures scattered along the path. With fewer works on display we only took 45 minutes one-way compared to our usual 60 minutes. In addition to the sculptures the coastal and beach views along the roughly 2km walk are breath taking.
The quality of the sculptures present was still high, so the visit was certainly worth doing. Sculptures by the Sea 2025 at Bondi runs until the 3rd of November 2025.
