Heinkel He 112 in Hungarian Service

Hungary ordered three Heinkel He 112B-1/U2 fighters for the Royal Hungarian Air Force, with the intention of licence-producing more. Unfortunate issues with the engine followed by the start of World War Two resulted in the termination of the contract. Unable to purchase engines from Germany, due to an export ban, as the engines were required locally, only the three fighters were operated by Hungary
